Stecher led the team in ice-time tonight. His and Raddysh's play lately is definitely making it easier to get through Tanev's absence.

Stolarz HM Stecher

Interesting Walman spent almost as much time laying on the ice than in the dressing room.

Myers dropping to, at best, 11th on the defence depth chart after playing 39 NHL games last season is something.

Looking at Matthews specifically here it's interesting that his 5-on-5 personal and on-ice shooting percentages are both pretty well within his career norms. And his actual 5-on-5 goal totals are still currently on pace to be at Berube levels than pre-Berube. It's the powerplay that's...

Cowan HM Rielly

5th best PP too. Just gotta figure out that pesky 5-on-5 play (where the Leafs rank 25th in GF%).

Joshua quietly had the 3rd highest goals per 60 minutes rate on the team last season at 5-on-5. He had as many 5-on-5 goals as Knies did but in 24 less games (and of course with significantly worse linemates). He probably won't keep shooting 20%, especially if he's on the 4th line now, but...

Bobrovsky HM Matthews Nylander looked dangerous all night, was nice to see Raddysh get 5 shots on net, and of course Paul (and the PK) were solid too.
