It's tough because ultimately the team desperately needs more defencemen like him not less. OEL produces comparable offence (actually has more points than Rielly this season) but I don't think his transition/puck moving game is as good. And of course it's a big assumption OEL's play will remain...

Yeah that will make handling the goalie situation pretty trick. I think Stolarz would still be trade-able, there's always Edmonton right, but this likely really hurts his value. And I think it makes Woll less-tradeable for the Leafs since shockingly he's the less injury prone one now it feels...

I feel obligated to note that while I repeated what Berube said re: Groulx, I don't think it's actually true. He's only played 4 games while under "emergency recall" and the Leafs would be able to 9 out of him before requiring waivers again. So I imagine there's a little miscommunication there.
