    Panthers @ Leafs - Apr. 11th, 7:00pm - SN

Good for the tank but don't know if I'm going to watch any of the last 2 games. Not really learning anything about the young players, the older players checked out long ago.

    Panthers @ Leafs - Apr. 11th, 7:00pm - SN

18 goals in the AHL this year! So...Villeneuve in the lineup makes me want to watch, Jarnkrok instead of Tverberg makes me not want to watch. Game time decision, I guess!

    Islanders vs. Leafs - Apr. 9th, 6:45pm - TSN4

5th in ice time among forwards...more than Domi, Maccelli, Robertson. We complain, but having him out there so much does help with the tanking. Thought Haymes and AA looked good. Would really like to get a chance to see what Villeneuve can do (Tverberg too). Pezzetta...just why did they sign...

    Islanders vs. Leafs - Apr. 9th, 6:45pm - TSN4

So...everyone looking forward to another 12 minutes of Calle Jarnkrok tonight?

    Capitals @ Leafs - Apr. 8th, 7:30pm - SN

No Haymes? No Villeneuve? No real reason to watch for me.

    Leafs Front Office 2026-27

I really don't think this team is as bad as they've looked much of the year. I'd like to see them with a different coach before I go full rebuild mode. Some individuals need to go, some new pieces would be a big help. But unless Matthews tells them this summer "I want out now", I don't see much...

    Leafs Front Office 2026-27

I was afraid they'd chicken out and keep Treliving, so this is great news. I guess Berube gets to finish off the tank...or maybe not? Whatever, at least now there is something of interest (other than the Gudas revenge party tonight) to look forward to.

    2025-26 NHL Thread

Wow! Ruthless indeed. Will be interesting to see how this plays out. Wonder how Mitch is going to like it...I always kind of fantasized about bringing Tortorella to Toronto to see how the core 4 would handle it.

    Blues vs. Leafs - Mar. 28th, 7:00pm - SN

Looks like they've embraced the tank, finally. Blues just doing whatever they want in the Leafs zone.

    Sabres vs. Leafs - Mar. 14th, 7:00pm - SN

I hope that lineup is wrong...Pezzetta should be in for either Lorentz or Jarnkrok.

Matthews out for season with MCL tear

I always thought they needed something like that Islander line - can't remember exactly who was on it - 3 decent sized players who love the physical game, are fast enough to get in the forecheck and pound defenders and will actually do it (and will fight if needed). They could play mostly on a...

    Ducks @ Leafs - Mar. 12th, 7:00pm - TSN4

I actually found myself hoping the Leafs would grab Curtis Douglas when he was on waivers the other day. Vancouver beat them to it, though.

    Ducks @ Leafs - Mar. 12th, 7:00pm - TSN4

So when is the re-match? Need to mark my calendar

    Ducks @ Leafs - Mar. 12th, 7:00pm - TSN4

Maybe if someone had kneed Matthews earlier in the season, things would have turned out differently.

    Ducks @ Leafs - Mar. 12th, 7:00pm - TSN4

This team just might manage to sneak into the top 5 in the draft. They are terrible.

    Ducks @ Leafs - Mar. 12th, 7:00pm - TSN4

Pezzetta is the only reason I'm going to watch any of this game.

2025-26 Toronto Maple Leafs General Discussion

I wonder if there is any plan other than "run it back and hope things are different next year."

2025-26 Toronto Maple Leafs General Discussion

Berube should be gone immediately. Treliving should be gone before he has a chance to do any more damage. The whole management structure needs to change.

    Laughton to LA

I don't know. Laughton is a good penalty killer but not much else. Maybe they were too far apart on a potential re-signing, or maybe he comes back this summer. The big crime is what they spent to get him last year.

    McMann to Seattle

Well...if the other options were (1) signing him for something like 5x5, or (2) letting him walk for nothing, I guess this is preferable. He's been a nice story but really - too streaky, disappears for long periods, no playoff impact, big but no mean streak, recent play has been weak. Kind of...
