The Ducks give up a 2016 2nd round pick for Bieksa.

Ducks are loading up.

I wonder if he and Kessler got along when Kessler left. I don't think so.

Also sounds like Beauchemin won't be returning to Anaheim, so a Beau-Bieksa swap really hurts their blue line.

Yeah, that's a pretty big downgrade.

That's not the impression I have from out here in Vancouver. Unless they are dumping on him
now like they did when Kessler left - although I don't know why as Kessler was an a**, certainly at the end, asking to be traded. Bieksa was asked to waive his no-trade so he hadn't planned on leaving.

It sounds like he was only willing to waive his NTC to go to one of the California teams, so, that would limit the return. Also seems like the Canucks were pretty set on moving him.
