Line-up Notes

?Luongo (19-15-6, 2.36, .918) is expected to start, but with Lack (8-8-3, 2.22, .922) outplaying him as of late he might get the night off
?Hamhuis is the only injured Canuck who might rejoin the line-up as he would like to get a game in before the Olympics
?H. Sedin has been shut down until after the Olympic break
?I don't bring up Hot/Nots anymore, but D. Sedin is definitely a not with 0 goals in 2014 (18 games goalless streak)
Code:

?Bernier likely starts for Toronto
?No update on any of the Leafs' injured group, but none are expected to rejoin the line-up at this point
?I wouldn't expect the Leafs to go with 7 defencemen again, so I have Orr coming back in but that's not confirmed

Also, for those who don't look closely at the titles, puck drop is at 6pm not 7pm tonight. Likely to allow the Olympians to leave a little earlier.

Wow, thanks, totally hadn't noticed or heard.  Should we assume this means the Leafs won't get their first shot until halfway through the second period instead of the first period now?

Well 6pm is usually more warm-up time for them and they get plenty of shots then. So I'd expect a flurry of them in the 1st and then in the 2nd when 7pm rolls around they'll revert back.

Please just beat them. I was in BC for 23 years and I hate the Canuncks and the fan base. Destroy them please.

who the frick is Blake on the third line?

Oh, that's a typo. Sorry, should say Raymond. It won't let me edit it though for some reason... I guess we'll just have to leave it for now.

The Leafs haven't beat the Canucks in over 10 years, it would sure be nice to beat them now, and kick them a bit while they are already down and extend their losing streak to 7 games heading into the break.

GO LEAFS GO !

Pay back time!

Gotta call out two players - I'll leave Clarkson alone as he's starting to earn half his salary.

Lupul - You're on pace for 49 points??? WAKE UP!

Franson - Enough with the turnovers already! If the league tracked "Giveaways that end up in the back of the net" I'm sure he would be leading.

Hopefully McLaren or Orr (or both) get pulled but at least one will be in to match up with Sestito.  I rather see 7 dmen each game; let Ranger play 4th wing.

If Leafs beat Canucks and hopefully Detroit wins over Tampa and Carolina wins over Montreal, Leafs would be second in the division before Olympic brake. Who would have guessed at the end of December.
