Game Notes

ARI
?Hill (2-3-2, 2.54 GAA, .918 Sv%) will likely start for the Coyotes
?Arizona was in Montreal last night and they beat the Habs by a score of 3-2
?Starting goalie Darcy Kuemper was supposed to make his return from injury last night after missing the past 2 months but he tweaked something in practice the morning of and missed the start. His status is unknown so 3rd string goalie Adin Hill is currently projected to start
?It's not too long ago that the Coyotes were sitting atop the Pacific division. But they've gone 3-7-3 in their last 13 games and have dropped to 9th in the Western conference
?Taylor Hall is up to 20 points in 23 games in a Coyotes jersey. If Arizona keeps slipping though he may end up wearing a 3rd teams jersey by the trade deadline though

TOR
?Campbell (9-10-3, 2.85 GAA, .900 Sv%) will likely start for the Leafs
?Andersen has skated 3 times now and Keefe said yesterday that he could potentially start tonight. For now we'll project Campbell goes until there's confirmation otherwise
?The Leafs' injury bay is looking pretty crowded, but hopefully that's not much of an issue tonight. Nylander has missed 2 games in a row with an illness but he took part in practice Monday so appears ready to go. Tavares and Holl both missed practice because they were sick but Keefe said he's expecting them both to play. Hyman also missed practice with "bumps and bruises" but is expected to play
?With that in mind the lines could still look a heck of a lot different because of how many regulars weren't at practice yesterday

Injuries

?Jason Demers - Oblique - Injured Reserve
?Barrett Hayton - Shoulder - Injured Reserve
?Darcy Kuemper - Lower Body - Injured Reserve
Code:

?Frederik Andersen - Neck - Questionable Tuesday
?John Tavares - Illness - Probable Tuesday
?Justin Holl - Illness - Probable Tuesday
?William Nylander - Illness - Probable Tuesday
?Zach Hyman - Undisclosed - Probable Tuesday
?Cody Ceci - Ankle - Injured Reserve
?Morgan Rielly - Foot - Injured Reserve
?Ilya Mikheyev - Wrist - Injured Reserve

Coyotes played last night and are starting their 3rd stringer.  Even if Holl and Tavares are out they had better figure out a way to win this one against a slumping team.

It's their 4th game in 6 days.  Let's hope the Coyote's are party animals

^This is good stuff.

Fun fact: the Leafs' top line has a combined aav that's more than $3M more than the entire current Yotes defence corps' aav (all 7 of them).

Wait. Yotes are on a back to back. This is supposed to be a guaranteed win. What a garbage start.  Leafs at home might as well just start down 1-0.  They never start on time.

Waiting for the excuse that leafs had two days off and that was too much.
