Just sayin' hello!

I just wanted to say a friendly hello.  What's new in your life?  New car? New job? New mistress?

Very little new for me.  Camped at Killbear for a few days before my dog got sick a couple weeks back.

Have I told you folks about my dog?  I have a service dog that we're raising/training.  He's about 6 mths old now.  Sounds like he'll be geared for either an autistic child or an adult with severe PTSD.

Anyway... What's new with you?

Guess I had mentioned the dog...

So what's new?

I, or rather my wife, had a baby 4 and a half months ago! The kid barely cries and sleeps through the night. Those days are numbered, if he wants to be a Leaf fan.

Congrats!  My youngest, Jake, turns 21 today.  Sarah turns 23 on the 23rd.  Both kids cried a ton at that age.  We had it tough with both.

That has made my morning......way to ruin another monitor... ;D ;D ;D

I think things come in waves. 3 months ago I was in a shitty job, no relationship, renting etc. I'm now in a job I wanted, met someone and bought a condo!

Odd how things change sometimes.

Nice turnaround!  I'm stuck in many ways, but have an awesome wife and two kids.  As long as I have them, life isn't all that bad.

Same old for me.  Wife and three daughters doing well, had a couple of "stay-cations" this summer.  We're getting our basement finished this fall.  Life goes on.

We've got a couple big household hits that are needed.  Roof in a year or two.  Furnace ASAP.  4 windows on the front of the house.  Our cobble stoned deck is sinking. Shower/bathroom are needing work.  Blech.

Yeah house stuff never ends.  I'll be glad once the basement is done though, nice big entertainment room for all to use.  Leafs games should look good down there on my soon to be bought new big screen TV.  :D

Good to hear how things are going, Rick.

For me it has been a summer of big hikes (just finished a 32K trip in Garibaldi Park last weekend) and getting ready for a trip up North to drive the Dempster highway - so endless trips to MEC. Thankfully the job situation's been more stable this year, had 3 different ones in 2015 (by my own choice, but still).

I hear we're getting a MEC in the KW area soon.  We've got a SAIL which isn't nearly as good as MEC.

That's a dream many of us have someday!

New mistress?

Who told you about my mistress!?!?! :P

I'm doing well - just returned from gallivanting across Europe (Amsterdam, Greece, Rome) and getting back to the swing of things at work.  Glad to hear things are going well with you (and everyone else!) too!

Hi!

Just left my mistress to have an affair with my wife.  :P  Just kidding.

Still trucking away down here in Silicon Valley (San Jose, California) waiting for the new season to start.

Hoping to get back to Canada again soon.  Parents live in London, Ontario.
