Marincin (lower body) is taking part in Leafs morning skate but is paired with Corrado ... appears Polak may stay in tonight

No battle of the Brothers here tonight. Trevor Van Riemsdyk was hurt last night in Columbus.

I'm interested in the Blackhawks this year to see if they're better or worse than last year.

The Blackhawks and the Pens both have 5 guys that combined take up over 50% of their cap dollars.

This year is soooo much more different than the last. I find myself looking forward to games, rather than just a mild interest in the tank. Marner the waterbug, Nylander's passing and shot, Auston's big body making plays. True, the goaltending and defensive lapses so far have been disappointing, but we are watchable again definitely. 3 straight years of top-5 picks in the lineup will do that for you.  :)

Three straight years of top tens just to clarify as Nylander went 8th.

Two straight years of top 5's, plus Rielly in the summer of 2012.  ;)

Wow, Panarin made Kadri look bad there.

At least he was doing something. Can't say the same about Zaitsev, Komarov, and Hunwick on that play.

I feel a little for Zaitsev there, yeah it looks like he left Anisimov wide open to double on Panarin but when Panarin walks right around Kadri like that someone does have to try to get in front of him.

Deservedly tied. Young team sticking with it against a good side. Really impressed with that PK as well
