You just know they are winning this game, it's the designated "oh there is no god damned way...oh, huh?" game of this part of the schedule.

EDIT: Also, is it just me or does that Blues forward group look to have more holes in it that it has in it's recent past?

It's a bit surreal... Mike Babcock behind the bench, Sparks starting and Bibeau backing him up. This feels like someone else's universe. I hope for Sparks' sake he doesn't get shellacked tonight.

I don't think it's just you. Schwarz and Berglund are noticeable losses and I still don't know that I understood the Brouwer for Oshie deal.

I hope for Sparks sake he plays a great game.

On a side note this years NHL schedule for the Leafs is crazy. How many times have they played "3 in 4" plus long layoffs.  What defect designed this sched?

I really don't get why Hunwick did that. Either play the pass or the shot but to just put your stick in the shooting lane seems designed to result in what we just saw.

Maybe he just felt like he needed to try to take Tarasenko with his cannon?  But you're right.

What a terrific play by Komorov and earlier Parenteau on Kadri's goal.  It is a small miracle that the game is tied after all of the quality chances that the Blues had in the first.

Parenteau's backcheck was mighty impressive when they showed it on the replay.
