remember of when we were ahead of them (or with them) in the standings just a few short months ago. Ouch.
Can't wait for the first trades to happen.

It was last years game against the Habs in mid to late march when I was officially done with this team and core group of players.

If I recall correctly they had just started their infamous 3rd straight year of crappy endings losing streak and were like 3 pts behind the Habs at that point. If they had won that game they would have been 1point behind them for home ice in the playoffs.  The team of course lost in what ended up being a close game...but what concerned me at that game was the complete lack of heart and urgency in their game and I thought that they were unlikely to make the playoffs. That was the game where I was officially done with this core set of players.

I remember when missing a Montreal-Toronto game would be the utmost disaster.  Now you'd have to pay me to watch it.

Leafs lose = yay Tank Nation!
Leafs win = beating the Habs is never a bad thing
Leafs lose in OT = WHAT HAVE I DONE TO OFFEND YOU, OH HOCKEY GODS!?!?

Can we forfeit? Just give us the L and let's skip the formalities.

The Leafs have a really great losing chemistry going right now, and need to lose as a team to keep it going.  Forfeiture is not an option.

Honestly, I fully expect the Leafs to lose but I hope the Habs are badly bruised by the end of the game.

Woo go Clarkson! Earn your money

Starting a fight with a guy at the end of his shift who didn't want anything to do with a fight.  That actually bothers me.  There is a reasonable time to fight and that wasn't it.

And of course he took the instigator for that fight.  What a useless tool he is.

Oh just Glenn Healy making no sense again. Tries to say Clarkson just got on the ice but Prust had been on the ice for way longer. Immediately shows highlight of Prust being hot well before with Clarkson on the ice already.

Yup. Then he just dropped his gloves regardless and Prust had no choice but to oblidge.

No Clarkson fan but Clarkson was at end of his shift too. Don't see the issue if they both are, if that's the concern.

Nice to see the refs call someone for starting a fight for the first time ever though.

Yes.  It just started working for me.
