Game Notes

TOR
?Andersen (28-13-6, 2.96 GAA, .906 Sv%) will start for the Leafs
?One line-up note is confirmed: Sandin will get back in with Rosen taking a turn in the press box
?Forward lines are from yesterday's practice, except Mikheyev (who is still weeks away) took reps on the Tavares line and Spezza/Malgin split 4th line duties. I'm guessing one of them take Mikheyev's place

LA
?Quick (14-22-4, 2.91 GAA, .901 Sv%) will likely start for the Kings
?Former Leaf Trevor Moore has 2 goals and 2 assists in 11 games with the Kings since being traded over there
?LA sits dead last in the Western conference with 56 points in 66 games. They'll miss the playoffs for the second straight season and are on pace to have their worst point total since the 06-07 season
?The Kings are on a bit of a roll though lately going 6-2-1 in their last 9 games. That includes wins over Pittsburgh and Vegas

Injuries

?Jake Muzzin - Hand - Injured Reserve
?Andreas Johnsson - Knee - Injured Reserve
?Cody Ceci - Ankle - Injured Reserve
?Morgan Rielly - Foot - Injured Reserve
?Ilya Mikheyev - Wrist - Injured Reserve
Code:

?Jeff Carter - Lower Body - Injured Reserve

Leafs probably shouldn't fall asleep for one of the periods as well, even though it's perfectly acceptable for fans in the EST.

Anderson has to be quick.

I also suggest our forwards make it hard for J32, getting net-front as much as possible.  Cut to the quick, in other words.

Ehhh just keep Kerfoot at 3C and I think they'll be fine in terms of depth. We'll see what happens.

Leafs win this one 7-1. Matthews with the hat trick to take over the scoring lead and ramp up his push to 100 points. Nylander with a 4 point night. And while I'm making predictions, don't eat the hot dogs in section 43 (just a hunch).

I sure wouldn't mind 50 goals and 100 points.

Edit: Leafs have never had a 50 goal - 100 point player.
