Call me an optimist but I'm really hoping Robidas figures out a way to come back from being old.

I gotta say..pressure is just completely off this year..they lose games and i just shrug.  in my time being a leaf fan i can honestly say i've never cared so little about this team.  I just hope the feeling comes back when they actually have a team again.  but you know, go leafs go and all that jazz.

Maybe just a rotation thing with games on back to back nights?

He and Rielly have been hands down their best unit the past few games, seems weird that he is the one being rotated, myabe he is carrying a minor injury that would benefit from an extra days rest.

He's also in his first full NHL season, though. I agree that he's been good, but rookies of his caliber get rotated out.

I noticed when Rielly was playing with Harrington he was on the right side, but when he was paired with Hunwick he played the left side. I think that his transition game is better suited for the right side. When he carries the puck he's able to cut into the middle on his forehand instead of backhand. So if he's staying with Hunwick hopefully he's on the right.

Especially on back-to-backs.

I'm really not trying to be a jerk here or anything but is there going to be a point in this season where people will stop being puzzled by a roster/lineup decision that seems counter-intuitive to the purpose of winning as many games as possible?

I'm not really puzzled, but I do think it runs a little counter to what was to be a "meritocracy" based lineup...at least, that's what Babcock was suggesting.

Like, the roster is bad, but the best bad players were supposed to play.

In the grand scheme of things, yes, but in individual games early in the season? Someone's gotta sit and everyone's gotta get into games.
