NHL 16

Anybody picking this up? Or have already picked it up? It's generally getting pretty good reviews it seems, both officially and just on social media. Which is great considering how much of a dud last years game was. I haven't really played these games on a consistent level for a couple of years but I'll be grabbing this one and hopefully putting it to good use.

I'm usually on a 3 year cycle, and I got 2015 :(, although I got it for the old console so it doesn't suck as much as it could.

I'm picking it up on my way home from work tonight and am excited to try it!  I still didn't have my PS4 when NHL 15 came out so if nothing else, I'm looking forward to playing my first current gen NHL game.

Not impressed.  I pick it up and I'm faced with a "downloading update file" that is expecting 8 hours for download completion.  My internet does not take 8 hours to download 2 GB of data.

I wish EA would make it for PC again, I don't want to buy a console for one game.

So you'll probably end up spending more to upgrade your PC to be able to play the game.  Just saying.

You can still play it in offline mode and allow it to download in the background or when it is in "Rest" mode.

My PC is already good enough, and anything I spend on it wouldn't be for one game.

How would upgrading his PC allow him to play a game on PC that they don't make for PC?

Did you not read what we were saying?  It was hypothetical.

In which case, writing "you'd/you would" instead of "you'll" would far more clearly introduce a hypothetical thought, disregarding the fact that it's based on no known information about his computer.

Not to mention that in general sports games tend to not take up nearly as much processing power as a lot of other games.  So if you have a computer that is designed for any sort of gaming capabilities you really aren't getting taxed by games that are graphically limited by consoles.
