Opening Round:Calgary vs Colorado

Only thing potentially holding the Flames back will be goaltending. Like any other team if it isn't up to snuff, they'll be gone.

Flames in 7.  Don?t see Calgary squashing the Avs in four straight here.  Colorado will put up a strong showing but as Guilt Trip mentioned, it?s the goaltending that will decide it (for Calgary).  And probably so.

Smith made 49 saves only to lose in overtime. Now they?re down 3 games to 1.

Just watched the highlights. Calgary should have won that game.

No, they shouldn't have. Colorado was dominant. They had ~2/3 of the scoring chances and controlled the puck most of the night. The only reason Calgary even had a chance was Smith. They were completely outclassed at every other position.

Pretty amazing how Colorado is making the Flames look like a marginal team.  They are killing them with their speed and tenacity, and the Flames have no answer.  Gaudreau looks like a scared kid out there.

Flames robbed of a goal.  Ref on the ice with a terrible goalie interference call.  Toronto up holds.  Really bad call.  Should be 3-2.

NHL needs to figure it out.  Lucky we got the better end of the 50/50 call in Boston tonight.

I'm not sure how I felt about that. Definitely looked like forward was pushing Johnson into his goalie but Grubauer stopped tracking the puck and that was more the issue than the interference itself.
