Ottawa and Boston back to back on Wednesday and Thursday - Who plays in goal?

Reimer will keep the net, however he might get the break in the 2nd of the back to back. Makes the most sense, it's not like Scrivens can't handle the work, he's proven he can IMO.

Scrivens should start vs Ottawa as he has good numbers playing in the ACC. Reimer should go vs Boston, last Boston game he surrended only a goal.

I'd give Scrivens the start tomorrow, and then roll with Reimer in the next 9 games right through 'til the 25th.  There's a day off in between each game save for the back-to-back against TBay and Buffalo (20th and 21st), but the team will be coming off a three day break which should give Reimer enough rest to play both.

Reimer is great against Ottawa.  Play him against Ottawa to increase the chances of winning.  Play Scrivens against Boston just to see what happens.

Feels like you can't go wrong either way, and it's a nice position to be in.  If Reimer needs the rest, start him in Boston; otherwise, if he's feeling good, my gut says start him in Ottawa and give Scrivens Boston.  He seemed pretty happy after last night's game, and there's no reason to interrupt that yet.

I think you should start the hot hand until he is tired. Reimer has had a lot of rest in the past week and past month, I think he can handle it. He can be pulled at any time if he starts to get shaky.

A goalie change can be an effective in-game strategy, it's like a mini-version of firing the coach mid-season. I think Reimer is the better goalie, and that we will need our best effort to beat both teams.

That there is a debate on the board about which goaltender should start which game is indicative of how well both have played.  If the decision is that each of them should start one of the games, I would play Reims v Ottawa and have Scrivens go in Beantown.  Otherwise, I would keep sending Reimer out there.

They have almost identical stats
