Panik signed to one year deal

$925k $975k cap hit. I was kind of hoping we'd get him signed to a bit of a longer deal, I think that he'll have a pretty decent season coming up. Especially with the room Kessel's exit created. But it's not like he'd be able to break the bank after one decent season anyway I guess.

NHLnumbers has it at 975k which is obviously not much of a difference from what CtB has it at.

Yeah I did a search and found The Hockey News wrote $925k, but looks like everyone else has $975k so I'm sure that's the right one.

I agree very occasionally he played well, other games he was barely noticed, in the 2nd half of the season he like his mates disappeared, that's become an annual event, it's such an odd phenomenon, TO needs performance leaders, one year at his salary means little but there's no reason to believe that he has much to offer in the change of team culture realm.

Not consistent enough.  Tended to disappear for periods at a time, especially late in the season.
