I feel like the Leafs are going to have a few of those "wow, we could have used him...and he came cheap too" kind of moves.  Something about being right up against the cap with a mediocre roster holding things back.

Ducks send the fourth they got from Washington to Dallas to acquire Robidas. So, in effect, it's swapping Penner for Robidas.

Yeah we wouldn't have been able to fit him in as things stand right now.

This seems like a Bolland-type scenario.  Good player coming off potentially career threatening injury.  Oh, and Robidas is in his mid-30's, which, trust me, doesn't make things any easier.
