Anyone know schedule for this series?

TBA. The NHL has been pretty bad with getting their schedules out for these playoffs. Won't start until the East is settled, so probably Friday or Saturday for game 1.

Same as I assumed.  I booked flight for Friday so really hope they don't go Thursday???

Chicago  3  Anaheim  2  3OT  Series tied at 1 game apiece.

Every OT has a hero.  In Game 2, it was Chicago's Marcus Kruger's turn, as he deflected then tipped-in the rebound of a Brent Seabrook shot from the point to give the 'Hawks the victory in triple overtime.

This game was certainly different for the Blackhawks.  Determined not to repeat the outcome of their previous Game 1 loss to the Ducks, in which Anaheim took the lead and the momentum, Chicago kept their lead in Game 2,  until the middle of the second period when Corey Perry deflected a Ryan Gezlaf wrist shot to tie it all up...

...and send the game into overtime, an overtime that saw both teams see-saw back and forth and both goaltenders on alert.  Chicago's Corey Crawford and Anaheim's Frederik Andersen were instrumental in keeping their respective teams competitive in the OT sessions.

Until Kruger came along to spoil it for the Ducks. Ouch.

Game 3 goes Thursday at the Madhouse in Chicago at 8PM.

I tend to be pro-Original 6 in general but I have to admit I'm very interested to see what a Tampa-Anaheim finals would look like ratings-wise.

Anaheim 2  Chicago 1  Anaheim leads series 2 games to 1.

The Chicago Blackhawks had plenty of power play opportunities afforded them in this game but came up empty on the majority of them, thanks to Anaheim's special teams -- penalty killing-- that did the job for them.

While the score is not indicative of the game  itself which saw Chicago dominate this one, it spoke volumes of what the Ducks do best -- the little things that make up the bigger picture -- such as scoring key goals and preserving the lead, led in part by goaltender Frederik Andersen who was stellar in staving off the 'Hawks power play advantages.

The frustrated 'Hawks couldn't get the equalizer nor could they repeat the heroics of Game 2 in which they capitalized on their power play chances that served them in good stead.  Not this time.

Game 4 is Saturday in Chicago at 8PM.

Holy 3rd period action here! 1-1 after 2 periods, Hawks score a pair in 5 minutes and then the Ducks score 3 goals in 37 seconds to erase that and take the lead.
