Likely a mid-round 1st and a quality prospect. Seems like a nice return for the Canes.

As I mentioned about Chicago, it's go time for the Kings...they're in their Stanley Cup window of opportunity. 

I think that's a big price for a just OK defenseman on an expiring deal.  I would have thought Franson was worth more than Sekera.

Sekera's a solid 2/3 defenceman. I figured his value would be somewhere around Franson's with Franson's being a little higher because he's a righty and scores more. But Sekera is probably the more dependable guy.

I wouldn't be surprised if he has a big impact there, I've always wondered how good he could be on a decent team.
