Trade "Dud-line" Day Thread

Oh man the commercials were already airing right after the Gold Medal game... made me feel kind of queezy all the melodrama they try to build up to get everyone interested.  It's only going to get worse.

I used to eat this stuff up and now i have about as much interest in trade deadline as I do watching All My Children or passing a kidney stone.

Also the fake rumors are already flying.. Dreger trying to bait us all with the Gardiner and Kadri stuff.  It's 100% BS.  101% in fact.

It's funny because you'd think that some of the really sluggish deadline days we've had in recent years would dull the promotion for it somewhat. I suppose, though, that the ratings were strong enough that they still want to hype the heck out of it.

I didn't realize that the Leafs goaltending wasn't a strength.  When I think if the Leafs problems I definitely think defense, center, and goalie.

That analysis started out okay and really went off the rails quickly.  It went off the cliff at the goaltending weakness thing.

You gotta laugh.

Have you ever passed a kidney stone while watching All My Children with the trade deadline in picture-in-picture, in the top corner of your screen yet?  ;)

It's on my bucket list!
