Granted I don't watch much Wild hockey, but is Parise really a third liner now?

I think it's more about spreading things out over there, and Niederreiter and Zucker both being hot right now.

Although Parise's point totals have been steadily dropping over the past 6 or 7 seasons. That's a pretty bad contract for the Wild right now.

This game is approaching must win status.

Six points out right now, tied for last in the East.

They've played 2-3 games less than every other team in the Atlantic, but yeah, they should get working on making up ground.

Marincin wasn't present for the game skate and Kadri's back from illness, per Shilton.

Carrick back in partnered with Gardiner.

That is the only lineup change from last game.

Babcock indicated Marincin will be available tonight.  So there may not be a lineup change.

Could be, but available doesn't necessarily mean playing.  Carrick is looking more and more like a lock with Gards for the time being.

Marincin and Corrado might turn into a thing once Hunlak is dealt with.  Goodness knows they've practised enough together.

I'm not disputing that Carrick and Gardiner look pretty good together.  But, Babcock himself said he was very happy with Marincin in Vancouver.  He's also practiced beside him all week, except for this morning due to being sick.  If he's healthy enough to play, he's beside Gardiner tonight.

You could very well be right.

Man, what a rip-off of herman's GDTs.

I was gonna say. Who is this new rookie that is taking over from Herman?

I expect more from a young buck trying to show us something ...just looks like herman's thread copied and pasted to me.
