Game Notes
MTL
-Jakub Dobes (7-4-2, 2.87 GAA, .904 Sv%) will start for the Canadiens
-The Habs are coming off a 5-2 loss to the sens on Friday night. The Blue Jackets, Rangers, and Red Wings will all be rooting for Toronto in this game as they hope to keep their incredibly slim playoff hopes alive. All 3 teams are trailing Montreal by 6 points for the final wild card spot in the East
TOR
-Joseph Woll (25-14-1, 2.76 GAA, .907 Sv%) will likely start for the Leafs
-With Kampf, McCabe, and OEL all out with day to day injuries the Leafs will be forced to play with a short roster while only having 5 defencemen in the line-up

Mtl essentially now only in 8th…TB lost in OT. Leafs up 2 with game in hand and 3 after Mtl game. They could be up 4 which would be massive IF they beat Habs. IF they start on time. IF IF IF with this team. It’s pretty much their’s (division) if they want it.

I would be delighted if the habs found a way to losing their last 3 and like Columbus or NYR win 3-4 in a row to sneak into that last spot.

I would laugh at their expense, very loudly.

A win in regulation would lock up home ice for the Leafs in the first round.
Montreal played in Ottawa last night so that is in the Leafs favor as is home ice.
We're going to find out if this team has any killer instinct.

Ahhh do not play 16 on D. If he gets hurt trying to do stuff he's not used to doing then it's lights out.

He’s going to start an OZ faceoff with the Tavares line from the blueline and it will score off a Johnny tip in the slot off a Marner sifter.

I think we are going to see it might just be the odd shift when you catch Montreal with their 4th line on the ice. It's definitely nicer having home ice for last change right now. I'm assuming Rifai will get the callup to play tomorrow against Carolina.

Laughton with a great play to save a possible goal, Marner with a reckless pass that led to a pretty good rush.

Holy hell he was going down the second he felt Myers near him

That's a play that happens 30 times a game without a call.
