Like the pick up of power arm Dominguez for the pen. Has closing experience too so can take some pressure off Hoffman if needed.

Jays are apparently close to adding Shane Bieber, who is finishing up a rehab assignment where he's looked good. If he's even 80%, that's a great add to the rotation.

Taking Wing: Khal Stephen

While reading Keith Law’s mid-season top 50 prospect update last week, I was unsurprised to see that Arjun Nimmala had jumped up into the top 40, and only mildly surprised to see Trey Yesavage on...

He looks like a good prospect, but at a guess he’s 3 years away. He could be the next Nate Pearson or he could be the next bonafide starter, or could be nothing at all.

It’s the right move to make.

I'm not sure I'd put Stephen at the same level of prospect as Cowan, but, it's hard to make comparisons across the two sports. There's a really wide range in what he could turn into.

It's a good to very good prospect for a guy who has won a Cy Young and is coming back from TJ surgery - so, somewhere between Minten and Cowan for Drew Doughty coming back from injury.
