P1 pretty much done. leafs have not embarrassed themselves and actually held play in the Detroit end for good stretches. Haven’t converted or even had any really good looks yet, but since the bar so low and process is not a poop show, I’m going to say it’s been a pretty good period.

Ottawa’s adjustment, because they have nothing to lose and a decent advantage in this regard, is to try to rush the puck at full speed and just blow by the Leafs if they get the chance. The Leafs need to put good sticks on the puck to get some easy space on the counters.
