Wasn't a two-way deal not good enough for him last season? I guess reality is sinking in a bit for him.

I think it was more that he wanted to be in another organization and felt he could get a one way deal which, you know, he did.

Hanson's contract with Washington was a two-way deal.

I remember meeting Christian's dad last year at a charity game in Winnipeg and I was wearing my Leafs jersey, he seemed very bitter about the Leafs.

Glad to see Christian sign with the Bruins, he is a good AHL player.

I thought he left Toronto looking for a one-way deal though? Maybe Nik is right and it was just that he wanted out of Toronto altogether. But a few people were saying that the Caps was not the place to go looking for opportunity, in his case. Weren't you one of those?

I really like the Panthers signing of Peter Mueller (1 year, 1.725 Mil.) He's either a bust due to injury or they get a very good contributor to their top six. - Very low risk for that kind of dough (which they need to spend anyway.)

Oshie gets 20.875 over 5 years from the Blues. With that, they have 23 players signed and are still about a half mil under the floor. There are so many pieces there I really like... They've really built a fantastic team on the cheap.

I'm not sure I'd go that far. I look at their roster, and a see a team that's going to do well under Hitchcock's system in the regular season, but is unlikely to really have much playoff success.

Too bad we blew it so bad with the Stempniak trade.  Alex Steen looks like he'd be a better option than Bozak on the first line.
