Well, that should just about do it. I'd say the only question left is whether the Kings win in 4 games or 5.

No team out of the East could have beaten LA or CHI. Or maybe ANA or SJ for that matter.

Potvin29 said:Thought Lundqvist would steal a game at least but not looking likely now. Rangers blew their chances in games 1 and 2.
Potvin29 said:Then at that point King should have stopped and not continued to try to get to a spot where he would come into contact with Lundqvist. He has a responsibility here, and it's unintentional but it still prevents the goalie from freely moving within his crease. I see no attempt to avoid contact at all.

His left skate was shoved into Lundqvist by McDonagh's right skate, how's he supposed to avoid that? I agree that it impeded Lundqvist but I don't think he tried to do that or is responsible for the contact.

I mean, they've been in the league for 40+ years, they've built up nothing in the way of real history or rivalries, they've got a boring and bland uniforms, an All-Time Kings all-star team would largely be guys who are more associated with other teams plus Marcel Dionne and Luc Robitaille, they're like the 10th most popular sports team in their market, their fans are basically the very definition of fair-weather....would anyone really miss them? Outside of market size do they add anything to the League picture?
Even now, as they're about to win their second Cup in 4 years playing flukey, boring hockey...would anyone not prefer to see them in Hartford or Seattle or Quebec City?
RedLeaf said:Wow. Not a fan, eh? I think the Kings fans would object to your description of their team.
RedLeaf said:Gretzky put that franchise on the map. Before he played for them, they could be described as you have above.
RedLeaf said:Could it be that you're just jealous that a hockey crazy city like Toronto can't win the damn cup in 50 years, and the city of Los Angeles, that doesn't give a crap about hockey can win 2 in 3 years? I know I am.
