Game Notes
BOS
-Jeremy Swayman (18-18-5, 2.98 GAA, .898 Sv%) will start for the Bruins
-Hampus Lindholm has been out with a knee injury since mid-November and Boston received bad news on him recently as he's expected to miss the rest of the season because of that
-To make things even worse Boston is of course also missing Charlie McAvoy after the top defenceman was injured at the 4 Nations Cup tournament
-The Bruins currently sit in 10th place in the Eastern conference, but only 1 point behind the sens for the final playoff spot there
TOR
-Joseph Woll (20-11-0, 2.63 GAA, .910 Sv%) will start for the Leafs

Brazeau is a healthy scratch tonight (pending UFA, probably about to be traded)
0 points in his last 9 games and he played under 10 minutes in 5 of those. He also practiced as a possible scratch yesterday, alternating with Wahlstrom. Possible there's trade talks for sure with someone but it might also just genuinely be performance related.

With that said man it was a bummer we couldn't have kept Brazeau in the organization. Seemed like such a great story at first.

It's weird, because he has 20 points in 54 games this year, including 10 goals.

I guess it's really gone sideways for him over the past month or so.

Hockey’s a team sport and most players don’t really have the capability to produce offense without the lineup meeting a certain threshold of juice. Bruins have basically no juice now with their injuries and roster decisions. Pasta can still cook somewhat on his own (especially if defenses make mistakes), but everyone else is just a warm body.

Looks like Robertson picked up some confidence over the weekend and is just shrugging off bodies

It's baffling how stupid the team becomes on the PP. shoot the flipping puck and stop trying to be fancy

They really need to entertain splitting up the units in a meaningful way

Lucky we didn't give up another with the giveaway at the blue line by 88. Then struggling to get back and gives up an odd man rush.

Boston still does a good job clogging the blueline and the Leafs are just trying to skate through sticks
