To me this is the acid test of whether they have truly turned a corner.  What was it, 2 years ago? when they could have closed out a series in Game 6 on home ice and couldn't get it done.  I would love to see them blitz the Habs from the get-go and never even give them a whiff of hope.

Expect the Habs to try to come out strong early. Leafs need to weather that storm and put a couple pucks behind Price.

No need to rush Foligno back if he's not 100%.  The lineup on Tuesday was dominant, leave it as is or if changes must be made throw Sandin back in.

Sandin back in for Dermott. Brooks stays in, which is a little surprising to me. I thought he had a pretty rough game on Tuesday.

We don't know how good of shape Nash is in so maybe that's why.

I'm wondering the same. Otherwise I would think Nash rotates in to keep fresh.

no kulak perhaps?  Can't imagine that a 3rd pairing d-man would cause much of a fuss though.

The comments from Habs fans suggest it might be consternation about continuing to scratch Romanov (i.e. Montreal's Sandin).

Gustafsson (acquired by Montreal at the deadline for a 7th rounder, played 5 regular season games for them, isn't very good) is getting into their playoff line-up before Alexander Romanov (21-year old who averaged 17+ minutes in 54 games for Montreal in the regular season). Habs fans/media are all pretty baffled he hasn't played a playoff game... and now possibly might not at all.

Also Kulak being the one to come out instead of Merrill, but that's more of a secondary thing.

Romanov is probably their best puck moving D man. I'm glad he's not playing. Bergevin is going to play "his" guys. He's the same guy who gave away Mete to make room for Merrill...head scratchers.

Matthews breakout game? Nylander goes 5 for 5?
