1st half Canada v. Cuba WC qualifier will be my viewing between games.

Like going from watching an EPL game to watching a MLS game  ;]

The broadcast looks like its from the early 90s.

I think the camera is actually a toaster.

Too funny

Hey ferret!  On an off-topic note, I'm SURE you will be saddened to know that The Skillet in Zellers' at Stanley Park Mall is closing for good.

lol You don't say - I guess that Zellers is getting nixed too then. I've only ever been in one sketchier mall in my life...Herongate Mall

INJURED DUTCH DEFENDER MATHIJSEN TO MISS DENMARK MATCH
Associated Press

KRAKOW, Poland -- Key defender Joris Mathijsen will miss the Netherlands' European Championship opener against Denmark on Saturday but should be available for the rest of the tournament.

Coach Bert van Marwijk said Friday that Mathijsen is still recovering from a left hamstring injury sustained during a 2-1 friendly loss to Bulgaria on May 26.

He has been training on his own for most of the time since that match.

Though he will miss the Netherlands' first Group B match, Van Marwijk hopes the defender will be available to face Germany on Wednesday.

Van Marwijk says Mathijsen "is making progress" and that "we are keeping him in the squad."

Yeah now they just need to relocate it away from Baycrest / Walkley

I think that growing up a pro wrestling fan has conditioned me. Every time I hear the Russian national anthem I expect to see someone getting hit by a folding chair.

I always used to wonder about that as a kid. I never understood why America granted this guy a visa so he could tour the country promoting the Soviet Union or why the Politburo wouldn't recall him after he was continually and humiliatingly beaten.

Nikolai Volkoff is actually Croatian.

Well ok not really, Volkoff was "from" Russia, but the dude who was Volkoff was Croatian.

Sure, sure. Next you'll be telling me all of his fights were staged for the amusement of the spectators.

Some how I can picture a young Nik actually wondering about this.

The Tsn euro 2012 iPad app is pretty good for highlights.

They have game highlights  in real time, goals come up minutes after they are scored.
