Wow....not sure if the Leafs were still on-side there but Liles makes a huge push there to score.

I also want to add -  I really like Liles.  He seems like a really positive addition, and you can see through Twitter he has really integrated himself well with the guys on the team and seems like a very good influence on the younger guys.

I'm likin' what I'm seeing outta the Leafs tonight - just need to bury some more chances. I know, easier said than done it seems right now....

He won the community service award for October as well.

No disrespect to Kaberle but Liles is looking like a massive upgrade on him considering what he's doing in Carolina. I have big love for everything he (Kaberle) did in blue and white but man, does it look like Burke executed perfect timing when he traded him.

And I guess he's not going to say anything bad about his own team, but he seems genuinely enthused and impressed by the scale of the fandom of the Leafs.  I always like when players get pumped up about that and not scared off by it.

What a pathetic wormlike defensive effort on that play! >:(

That should have been an EASY clear, and a rush the other way!

That one was lame, too.

I get that Fisher was near him but come on, he wasn't blocking Scriven's ability to be in position.  Scriven's let up and wasn't ready for the Leafs turnover of the puck.  Greg Millen is a pain sometimes in when he picks and chooses to defend a goaltender.  If that was Gustavsson it would be about him not staying in the game when the puck hadn't left the zone.

Yeah looked like there was no screen either.  Went between his body and his arm.
