Good coast back Matthews. Team has never been able to put teams away when the chances are there. Same old same old.
That goal had nothing to do with Matthews. And game isn't over yet.

Not totally blaming him. Reilly pinches it?s still a 2 on 2 but if he gets on his horse he might have been able to get there and possibly stop the goal. Look at the replay he?s coasting.

Marner is barely moving out there. Is he injured or just playing poorly?
He better be injured because since game 3 he hasn't been good.
What is Nylander doing standing there watching them take the puck.

Johnsson was covering DeSuck there. How about if he does his job he prevents the goal?

Overall, pretty lazy effort through two.  What?s their deal?  Such a huge opportunity and just nothing.

Completely gave up.  This effort level is unacceptable.

I?m not putting the blame totally on Austin and yes Johnsson was weak but you gotta hustle back.

This is underwhelming.  Bruins are, however, playing a good defensive game and when they do that they are going to win more often than not.

Leafs need to pull out all the stops in the 3rd, take some risks and hope Andersen can bail out any mistakes going the other way.

Now would be a good time to bench Marleau and move up Moore or Ennis.

Of course Babcock puts out Marleau on the PP and with the empty net so there isn?t a chance it?ll happen. He?s a huge anchor on Nylander?s game though.

I get the criticism of Marleau but the real issue for the Leafs is that the Tavares line has disappeared offensively since G1.

I don?t disagree. Tavares has been pretty invisible this series, particularly in light of what you may have expected based on his season (and pay cheque). And Marner kind of seems like he?s injured.

Tavares can erase that with a good 3rd.  And yes, Marner has not looked good since the double blocked shots.  Maybe he is hurt.

Well, down 2 is not the end of the world.  Let's see if they have progressed enough to really take it to them in the 3rd and win this thing.
