Line-up Notes

?Cam Ward is likely Carolina's starter, and still looking for his first win of the season
?It's possible Mike Komisarek may suit up to play against his former team
?Could enforcer Kevin Westgarth find himself in Carolina's line-up for just the second game this season?

?No word yet about a starter, but my gut says Reimer Thursday and Bernier on Saturday
?JVR's status for the game is at this point still unknown

Injuries

?Elias Lindholm - Undisclosed - Questionable vs. TOR

Colour: yay or nay? Does it make everything easier to follow or does it just look off?

Also, I notice now that the two stats tables at the bottom get a little jumbled up when you read them on an iPhone, so I'll separate them next time.

I like the colours...makes it easier to organize visually.

what are you going to do when its 2 blue teams though?

Yeah, the HRs are a nice touch; makes it a little easier to process.  The colour is nice, but not necessary.  I'm seeing weird formatting (extra carriage returns) in the Lineup Notes for some reason. O_o  EDIT: Looks fine now! <3

In general, though, your GDTs are super duper.  Thank you again for taking the time for us!

As for the game: Carolina has been struggling of late, but the way the Leafs have been playing, I still have no idea what to expect.

All I can say is that I also think Reimer will start, and that I hope that JVR only plays if he truly feels up to it.

Go Leafs go!

Looks good to me!

(Oh, and Lupul is the co-scoring leader with 8 points, not JVR.)

Thanks.

Fixed some formatting issues too.

Great job on the formatting CTB.  It is really easy to read which takes time to create.  It was a little jumbled last night but looks really good today.  Thanks for the effort, it is appreciated!

I like the colours CTB, didn't we used to do that? Or at least Mr. T started that?

This is going to be either a really tough game or the Leafs will embarrass them, I haven't decided which way I'm leaning. I wonder which Cam Ward we see tonight, trophy winning, or unreliable?

Carlton, I always look for this game day thread info and it looks great with the colour imo.
Too bad they are hush hush who is starting and who is playing etc. Being in the west, I get out of touch with info on the leafs. thnx again.

Interesting to see the group of articles from the major papers today talking about how the Leafs need to improve their puck possession game and stop being heavily outshot and outchanced.  "Corsi" by any other name....

Even Carlyle's getting in on it.

I want the Leafs to improve upon games won, and cut down on lost games.  So far so good.

Then no point wading into any stats-based discussion then right?  Just watch for the end result and leave those of us who want to look deeper into how the team is playing to do that.  I am at wit's end at how to avoid people becoming increasingly defensive about something being discussed that isn't revolutionary.
