Game Notes
TOR
?Andersen (17-9-1, 2.55 GAA, .923 Sv%) will likely start for the Leafs
?Weird, did the Leafs play last week? I don't remember anything
NJ
?Kinkaid (11-8-6, 2.88 GAA, .906 Sv%) will likely start for the Devils
?Kinkaid is starting, but let's talk about Cory Schneider for a second. Schneider's last regular season win was on December 27th, 2017. He was recently placed on the IR so there's a good chance he'll go an entire calender year without a regular season win. Since that last W he's gone 0-15-3 with a 4.26 GAA and a .859 Sv%. Quite the fall for somebody who was generally considered a top-10 goalie just a few years ago
?Taylor Hall has missed New Jersey's last 2 games with a lower body injury, but it seems like he's ready to return to the line-up. Hall has 8 goals and 31 points in 29 games. A pretty good stat line but not quite the 93 points in 76 games that earned him the Hart trophy last season. That's maybe even a little disappointing since someone turned the goals slider way up this season
