Game Notes

TOR
?Andersen (35-15-5, 2.76 GAA, .917 Sv%) will likely start for the Leafs
?All eyes are on Travis Dermott right now. The defencemen shed his no-contact jersey on Monday which indicates he is very close to returning to the line-up

PHI
?Hart (15-11-1, 2.72 GAA, .921 Sv%) will likely start for the Flyers
?Philly is 10th in the East and 10 points back of a playoff spot. They made things close for a bit there but they're 2-5 in their last 7 games which isn't going to cut it for a team in their position

Injuries

?Jake Gardiner - Back - Injured Reserve
?Travis Dermott - Shoulder - Injured Reserve
Code:

?Michal Neuvirth - Lower Body - Injured Reserve

This would be a game I would consider starting Sparky for.  Give Freddy the Sens Saturday, the Islanders on Monday, and the Bolts on Thursday.  Sparks would get the remaining games (today, Tue, next Sat)

I want Freddy to play against New York and Tampa. The Montreal game might also very much feel like a playoff game (at least for the Habs) since it could be do or die for Montreal, so I'd want Andersen to get that game too. I'd give Sparks both Philly and Ottawa but he probably doesn't start consecutive games so he gets one of those plus Carolina. That would put Andersen at 60 games, 6 less than each of the past 2 seasons.

Yes, please sit him. If anything work on Sparks getting some confidence.

Oh great, Babcock is the only guy who thinks Andersen doesn't need a rest. Play him into the ground Mikey!!

Ennis is in for Moore, and Oz for Holl tonight as the coaching staff has finally been convinced to cycle the depth to keep legs engaged and fresh.

I heard the Flyers may be going with 7D tonight.  Now that they are eliminated, they want to give 6'7" D-Man Sam Morin a look.  He was the first round pick in 2013, but had been sidetracked by injuries & Hextall's typical prolonged prospect baking.  Now he'll get a chance to show something in the last few games.  Big, physical stay at home D-man.

RH?

If he is, we'll give you Brown, Kadri, and Babcock for him.
