I get scratching Engvall. He's looked pretty meh so far this season, even if there is potentilaly a reason with him missing most of training camp.

I would have liked to see NAK stay in the line-up, especially for this game. He hasn't brought quite as much physicality/toughness as I originally expected so if this game does end up requiring some of that maybe it could have woken him up a little bit in that regard.

This team needs to start hitting on all cylinders and that first line needs to pick it up for that to happen. Let's hope we see it kick in tonight!

I think Engvall needs more time (he is hesitant) and Aube-Kubel only knows what to do on the forecheck but nothing else at this time. Watching the game from above can?t hurt.

That said, sending Clifford in as well means Simmonds isn?t running solo, but it also means that line isn?t really here for hockey.

I don't think that's fair.  There are many aspects to hockey, and a physical game is one of them.  And intimidation can also be part of a game plan.  I don't think either guy is tasked with instigating anything.

I know we don't like Winnipeg but is it really necessary to goon it up against the Jets?  That 4th line looks borderline unplayable

I don't really like the idea of icing a next to useless 4th line and Aube-Kubel moving up when he hasn't shown anything.

Bloody team. Control the play one shot coming back and boom. Kerfoot could have rode or flattened Dubois but skates right by him. Putrid defending.

I don't mind Clifford and Simmonds in tonight.
The Jets have been feisty in the recent past.
4th line wasn't doing much.
Clifford and Simmonds are playing for their NHL lives
