Not very surprising so far, but angry Malkin has got to be one of the scariest sights a hockey team could face.

His coach should be reminding him before every shift that the NHL didn't name him one of the top-100 players.

Malkin?s near miss on a 2nd goal is even more amazing.

That deflection (can you call it that?  ??? ) was incredible.

He angled it and placed it into the top corner on a high slot tip/one-timer-chip. It was totally deliberate and just crazy bonkers and I love that he has the cachet to look for making an entire season out of scoring subtle trick shots.

Crosby is in the zone he believes he can do the impossible and frequently does. Elliott's playoff numbers...

I think we would have fared better if Hextall came out of the GM spot and suited up last night. It has been over 30 freaking years!!?!?!?!? and we still don't have quality playoff goaltending.

...

My comment was more that he kind of whacked it out of the air more so than deflection. Either way, it was awesome.

Giroux and Letang just collided in their game and Letang immediately left the ice and went to the room. Top angle makes it look like a pretty accidental collision. Bottom angle makes it look like Giroux knew where Letang was and sorta launched into it.
