Group 2 gets this game, meaning likely lines will be:

* Sub out Matthews for probably Brooks though. Also no Filip Kr?l since he was assigned to the Marlies.

Muzzin wouldn't play in this game anyway as he's slotted in with Group 1.  I'm not too bothered by guys being out in preseason games.  A slight stiffness from the increased activity of training camp can be enough to have a guy sit.  These games are meaningless to a guy like Muzzin.

It was reported that some Leafs were sick last night (which is why they decided to scrap the planned shootout). So I wouldn't be surprised if that was why Muzzin didn't play.

It's too bad there doesn't seem to be any room for Semyonov on the roster, at least to start. From the sounds of it he's had a good pre-season.

He's waiver exempt so he may get a shot down the road. I've liked what I've seen from him.

Ritchie is warming up

He skates like molasses rolling up a hill but as long as he predictably gets to his spot(s), the more creative and faster players can just sling no lookers over for the ally-oops

Ritchie looking like a good meatbag who can take hacks and stand his ground who can shovel pucks in. Might be a pretty useful player if he can just get in close and either tap in or clean up the garbage.

Maybe like JVR but tougher

SDA has some sweet hands and a goal...said it already, the kid is good. Semyonov is impressing me again.
Marlies are going to be fun to watch this year..
