I know this is so not popular around here. But I am pulling for the Habs... I only hate them when they play the leafs. They are the only team in East I think with a shot to beat the Bruins who I so much despise.. So I need them to move on

Habs get lucky that Bishop won't be back for game 1, but, the Bolts are the better team and will prevail in 7.

What's the deal with Bishop? Done for the series or just a day-to-day thing?

All I've seen so far is that he's out for game 1. Anything more than that is still up in the air.

This is the toughest for me to predict because of Bishop's injury. With him healthy all series I think Tampa Bay takes it. But since If he misses just one game or two I think Tampa can take it in 7. If he's gone for any more than that it's Montreal.

But my official prediction will be the Habs in 6.

These aren't two great teams, but this has been a pretty great game. Lots of open hockey, especially after the first period.

So, from the box score, it appears as though Carey Price is providing his typical superb playoff goaltending.

It's tough to really judge him. All the goals against were from great scoring areas and mostly caused by bad defence in front of him.

Still, not exactly a confidence builder for a guy who already doesn't have the greatest playoff rep.

That was a very wide open game, and Tampa got outshot pretty badly.  Bishop is on the ice today in full gear but no word on whether he'll play next game.  If not, Tampa's probably going to want to try and limit the chances against Lindback, he looked pretty shaky on a lot of the shots.  Still made a ton of saves, but I got a Gustavsson-vibe from him in that game - never quite comfortable and having to make a lot of acrobatic saves because of being out of position.
