Discussion Topic: Can Soshnikov's wrist shot alter space and/or time? Is there a chance his shot on Saturday night was so accurate and powerful that it somehow also resulted in his 500th goal?

Alternate Discussion Topic: Why have they never had a Hardest Wrist Shot event to the NHL skills competition?

Just to be clear, Kapenen and Leipsic were on emergency call up, so when Michalek and Boyes were activated they need to send then down.

A win tonight would be nice.

Anything with mass distorts the space-time continuum, so the puck that he fired definitely did. Sadly relativistic speed does not cause time displacement, just time dilation from a particular frame of reference, so the future event of his 500th goal cannot be projected into the present.

Another discussion: Where does Soshnikov slot into our future lineup of champions? I'm thinking occasional scoring winger on a bottom-six grind line.

10 wins in a row to start next season, highlighted by the outstanding play of one, Austin Matthews, would be better.  ;)

Agree and since feb 29th the Leafs have a New definition of win:

Lose by a goal with the Kids playing Good.

Not sure if you are serious but:

1) The Leafs rebuild is now 3 years further along based on his goals
2) Soshnikov is now regarded as an absolute hybrid of Ovechkin and Kessel
3) Interesting actually.  It actually makes some sense that in a skills competition that they might have more shooting based skills.  Hardest wrist/snap shot.  Most accurate backhand, etc.

It's a fair point. I didn't really consider the science of it.

Updated Discussion Topic: Could Soshnikov's wrist shot defeat ISIS? Cure ebola? Win Best Actress in a Leading Role, Musical or Comedy at the Golden Globes?

That was a great explanation there, Albert.

It's actually pretty amazing that the Leafs have only won 16 out of 64 games in regulation or OT this year.

Ya. Even though some teams are close in points, the Leafs have far and away the least number of wins.

Whats up with Bozak, there has been vitually nil information on him at all. How bad was/is his concussion?

There's a note in today's SUN about him.  He's skating on his own with no timetable for return (In the "Loose Leafs" section and the very end of the article)

1) Yes, but only with coalition support and a solid plan for the area after ISIS is decimated.
2) It already has
3) The Globes? Yes. Not the Academy Awards, though. It's not white enough.

7(9)-30-5 since January of last year too.  So 23 regulation/OT wins over their last 108 games.
