Ottawa didn't allow a shot to the Bruins in the 2nd period. Still lost the game, though.

Probably should have deleted that one.

Bite your tongue.  It's the most Ottawa thing they could have done.

Erik Karlson is amazing and the only reason this sens team is where they currently are.

This may be one of the worst penalty calls I've ever seen:

Ottawa  4  Boston  3  OT      Senators lead series 2 games to 1.

Ask Ottawa forward Bobby Ryan what type of game it was.  He can be excused if he tells you strange.  Ryan went from being the goat on a Bruins goal to being punched which led to the Boston penalty in OT that led to the goal that made Ryan the hero.

What made this game even stranger, (apart from Boston's OT penalty which to many observers shouldn't even have been a penalty at all), were the three unanswered goals that the Bruins scored , especially the last two in the second period that would eventually send the game to overtime.  Or, if you're a Sens fan it would be more like how the Sens blew their 3-0 lead.

The fact that this game even went to OT left many an Ottawa follower shaking their heads.  To have the Sens win it disgusted Bruins fans moreover on the power play advantage the Sens were given.  That penalty call raised the ire of the Boston faithful.  The end result delighted Ottawa fans.

Ottawa  1  Boston 0    Senators lead series 3 games to 1.

Yawn.  For the fans at TD Garden, there was nothing much to cheer for as the Bruins got shutout by the sharp Ottawa netminder that was Craig Anderson.

It was  Bobby Ryan the hero again, who scored with just a little over four minutes remaining in the third period, the only goal the Senators would need on the night.  Ryan also scored the overtime winner in Game 3.

Not a very exciting game but it's the win that counts.

Glad to see MacArthur score that OT series-winning goal.  Considering his return recently from an 18 month absence due to medical (concussion) problems, and to reach the pinnacle of sheer joy in scoring that goal makes it all worth it for him.
