I hope this is the appropriate place for this thread. Apologies in advance if it isn't

After leaving with two men (allegedly from Toronto) for a test drive of his 2007 Dodge Ram (black), license plate # 726 7ZW, Tim Bosma hasn't been seen since Monday May 6th.

I hope beyond all hope that he is found alive. He has a wife and daughter.  :(

Both traditional media and social media have really worked hard to get the message out about this missing person case.  Here's hoping for all the best!

Stories like this one make me sad thinking of the world we now live in.  You want the truck, take the truck.  There is no need to harm the man and everyone in his life at the same time.  Hoping for a happy ending for this family.

Geez...this is scary.  I too don't have a good feeling about this.  Feel horrible for the wife and daughter. :(

I'll be honest -- I'm surprised situations like this aren't more common through these meetings through sales ads.  There are a lot of sick people out there who prey on opportunities like this.

They're not as uncommon as you'd think. The robbery part anyway.

It has happened to real estate agents.  They're called to show a new empty home, one male shows up to view it and ends up raping the female real estate agent once inside.

I speculate whether he was involved in a criminal element.  If they found out his truck was for sale, it would be the perfect opportunity to get him out of the house and alone.

Another motivation I could see is the drivetrain in his truck.  The Cummins diesel is highly desirable and you'll find rednecks sticking them in everything.  Steal the truck, put the parts in an old International Scout/Dodge Ram/Chevy/etc.

Wanting his truck for parts is much more likely. Apparently the same suspects test drove the same model truck a few days or a week previously, and that owner was suspicious of them. Police said that owner's size probably scared them off from trying anything.

Hamilton police have found burned human remains which they've identified as Tim Bosma.

Sad news...I was holding out hope for the best...
