Useless Thread

I just watched a video for some new Tomb Raider game.  It featured Lara Croft blowing guys' faces into a rest mist with a shotgun, stabbing them in the eyes with arrows, burying climbing picks into their skulls, setting them on fire, blowing them up, all while drenched in her victims' blood.  Just slaughtering hundreds of people.

When I played Tomb Raider, you spent the whole game jumping, climbing, swimming, and killing the odd leopard.  When did she turn into Rambo?

Conan did a skit where he was playing the game the other day and in one scene he ended up with Lara Croft with a spike/pole through her neck.  That seemed graphic to me.

Yes, you're right.  I recall now... the North American built one discontinued the V6 model... I think too much power on turns causing roll overs.  However the Jpanese version still continued offering a V6. Saftey be damned...go for the V6!

V6's are available in the Rav4, both current and previous generation. I doubt very highly that the V6 has anything to do with rollovers. The V6 in the Rav4, while an extremely well-regarded engine, is not a considerably powerful engine.

Just for the sake of accuracy, the both 4 cyl. and V6 models were built in Ontario.  And power doesn't cause rollovers.  And the V6 is well known to actually be very powerful, at 268 horsepower is was the most powerful vehicle in its class.

The new 2013 ones are all 4 cylinder, as they've discontinued the V6 models.

Last day of work today for almost four months! Heading home after work for a month of vacation, then I start my last level for my power electrician apprenticeship for 10 weeks! Kicking off my vacay going to the Leafs/Jets game tomorrow in Winnipeg!

Wahooo

Anyone know if there's a way to get through to the maple leafs scouting staff via e-mail somehow? There's a player in SEL they must go for imo, and I just don't want anyone else to get him. I think he'd make a decent NHL-player, and help out our pp. But they should have scouted this guy, I just wish he'd get a look at a training camp.

It might be easier to contact whoever they have working within Sweden.

Sent a txt to Thommie Bergman about it :P

This isn't really new news, but SEL has decided to remove a rule which restricts teams in SEL to have more than 2 non-european players on the roster. This will probably open the door for a lot more North Americans, this has been discussed for a while, and I think it's a good move.
