What Podcasts do you listen to?

Right now I am enjoying Something to Wrestle with. It has Bruce Prichard who was a top guy behind the scenes in the WWE for over twenty years. You might remember him on tv as Brother Love. He tells stories about famous events and wrestlers from WWE history.

Also great listening available on Crime in Sports. It features two comedians take a look at athletes who committed crimes.  Fantastic episodes on Otis Nixon,  Dave Meggett and Alvin Robertson. For some Leafs content check out the Brian Spencer episode. The story of his dad the night he made his NHL debut is unbelievable. https://audioboom.com/channel/crime-in-sports

These same two comedians also do a show called Small town murder. Essentially they look at murders that took place in small towns across the US. https://audioboom.com/channel/smalltownmurder

I listen to three hockey podcasts. Marek vs. Wyshynski, Puck Soup and Biscuits. Then some various assorted other sports ones. The Jonah Keri show, The Ringer NFL podcast, the one being done for NBATV by the formerly-known-as Basketball Jones guys and Hang Up and Listen.

In the nonsports world I listen to The Flophouse, a show done by some current and former Daily Show writers about bad movies. I also listen to North Mollywood which is a pop culture podcast done by ex-Grantland people. Also I like Pod Save America, The Bugle and The New Statesman podcast for semi-serious political stuff.

What are you using to listen to your podcasts? I primarily listen on my Windows 10 PC and haven't found a great app. I want to start downloading to my phone too (android)

The standard Podcast app on iOS is my go-to, but that doesn't help your Android usage. The Internet seems to like this one: Podcast & Radio Addict

The Infinite Monkey Cage looks like an intriguing blend I'd like to try!

I didn't like podcast addict personally. I like Podcast Player/Player FM.

I'm listening to more and picked up Audible to listen to, but I like The Athletic, Cortex (although it can get tedious), Leaf Report and my personal favourite: Freakanomics Radio. I can't stop listening to it.

Itr costs a couple bucks but I use pocketcasts. Pretty straightforward and simple.

Likewise.

My dad wrote a porno is quite amusing.

Literally a guy whose 60+ year old dad wrote a porn novel and him and a couple of friends read out and analyse and critique a chapter per week
