1 NY Rangers vs 8 Ottawa Senators

That's would really suck, he's been integral in this series.  He's drawn some penalties, and is running at an absurd 69.7% faceoff percentage.  His clutch faceoff-ness has been amazing on the pk.

Yeah he will be missed - who is going to get thrown out of the circle 18 times now?

New York G Henrik Lundqvist is just 18-23 lifetime in the post-season, although he did move past Dave Kerr (17) on the Rangers all-time list with his victory against the Senators Monday. Lundqvist is 11-12-0 lifetime vs. the Senators with a 2.05 GAA and .931 save percentage.

MINUS: D Erik Karlsson has been held pointless in four straight games in this series. He scored a power play goal in Game 2 when his attempted pass bounced off Michael Del Zotto's skate, but hasn't had anything since. In 12 career playoff games, Karlsson has seven points ... Derek Stepan, who was held pointless in the first five games of the series, had three points vs. the Senators in Game 6 in Ottawa, including his first power-play playoff goal ... Rangers LW Chris Kreider, signed out of Boston College earlier this month, had his first NHL goal in Game 6 and it turned out to be the winner. The 2009 first-round pick won a NCAA championship before joining the Rangers.

ONLINE EXTRA

This will be the fourth Game 7 in the Senators modern history. Three have been played on the road (Buffalo 1997, Toronto 2002 and Toronto 2004) while the other was vs. New Jersey (2003) in Ottawa ... The Rangers aren't regretting their decision not to trade for Columbus LW Rick Nash. As reported by the New York Daily News Wednesday, the Jackets insisted on getting Kreider if they were goig to deal the disgruntled Nash to Broadway before the trade deadline. Kreider has been strong stepping into the playoffs. "He's so fast, a big kid, you just let him go," New York centre Brad Richards told the Daily News. "And he's rode the momentum of what he did in college right into this."
