I guess for me it just goes all together. The Jays swing wildly at pitches, don't take the pitcher deep into counts and decrease the chance that he is going to miss his spot. It lets the opposition go deeper into games, and simply striking out means they aren't even reading the ball all that well because they aren't even making contact, let alone good contact.
The OBP is definitely a problem, but the SLG is what is really concerning to me given how bad the OBP is. They are still only 13th in the league (9th in the AL) so not only are they not hitting/walking, they aren't even getting that much power out of the few hits they are managing.
