I don't understand not bunting with Goins. I can't get over it.

Reynolds friggin' called it too for Goins to take the first pitch.

Those two leadoff runners stranded on 2nd is haunting them right now.

Well that and 2-3-4 leaving Revere on 2nd in the 1st.

Teams that don't bunt. Players that can't bunt.

Goins is actually a pretty solid bunter.  Waiting until strike 2 was dumb.  Leaving him to hit in the 7th was stupid.  He should have been pinch hit for there.

I know he is, relatively speaking. The whole sequence was beyond stupid. He should have been bunting on strike 2 as well. I wouldn't pinch hit for a guy with nobody on and 2 out though. The lineup turns over next inning anyway.

If they don't do it in the 8th, they won't do it.

I couldn't believe he took that first pitch.

Yeah, if you're not bunting you better be hacking. You're not fooling anyone.

The Jays have done more than enough to harm themselves in this series but MLB better hope that this game doesn't end 2-1 as that was an atrocious call on the home run.

Martin has been awful.

I wanna rip the beard off that freak show that caught the ball.

Seriously though, almost the entire offense has been atrocious at the plate when it's mattered.

Oh and Potvin, I hear ya on Goins, but he's been hitting well this series, maybe Gibbons is clutching at straws and thinks he represents on of the best shots to get it in play.

0-8 RISP. Bad call or not, the Jays are doing it to themselves.

Same story with game 2. You couldn't ask for more from price.

I love Donaldson. But where was the mvp when it mattered?

Imagine Jays got a bloop on any of those RISP situations? I don't know what more they can do - Donaldson hit it 116 mph into a line out.

It's beyond frustrating.

But he tried bunt on pitch 2 so why not on pitch 1?

Revere just super-manned an out in left field against the wall and almost got the double at 1st.

Yeah, you're right, I was merely pointing out that I think Gibbons is letting him make the call out there.

Poor decision making from Goins though.

You see Revere make plays like that and just wish he could get it done a little more on offense, what a player he'd be then.

If this goes to 7, any chance they move Tulo into the lead-off spot?
