Sucks to lose Cecil. On the bright side, it probably won't matter if they lose this game.

I thought you were just a bit of a downer about the Leafs, turns out you have plenty to spread around. ;)

What can I say, if you lose 2 in a row at home I'd say the prospect of winning 3 in a row is pretty slim.

I hear you, just razzing a little.

With the Jays bats though, they could change a series real quick, especially against the 3rd and 4th starters.

Yeah, but the Jays are throwing up their 3rd and 4th starters as well, and the Rangers aren't slouches with the bats either. This is must win today.

Rangers sure getting a lot of outside stuff compared to Jays: http://www.brooksbaseball.net/pfxVB/zoneTrack.php?month=10&day=09&year=2015&game=gid_2015_10_09_texmlb_tormlb_1/&prevDate=1009

I have no idea what's a strike from at-bat to at-bat and it seems like neither do the Jays hitters.  When they've tried to take pitches they're called strikes.

I'm not surprised by that. The Jays have done the most whining. I'm not trying to side with the umpire here, because he is a hack, but they need to shut up when they're in the box. You can't win over someone's ego in the totalitarian system that is baseball umpiring.

I'm so glad this game didn't start at 7pm ET/midnight here.

At this rate it's going to overrun the start of the Leafs game anyway.

I don't understand why they put Pompey in to run and then don't steal until there were already 2 outs.  This catcher doesn't have a good arm and Pompey has only been caught once.
