Sanchez is literally the team's best hitter against RHP. The problem is he is an awful fielder and isn't the DH because, for some reason, Springer can only DH now.
The way the offense has been that isn't an impressive accomplishment. Kirk has another good week and Sanchez won't even have that.
Springer will be likely gone this offseason so DH can be upgraded.

Assuming we even have a season next year the real challenge is how many holes there are in the offense.
They need to find a way to get some more power in the bats. Whether that is relying more on guys who are speedy and can hit a lot of doubles or guys who can swing for the fences....too much soft contact. Too many ground balls...and generally too many guys who can't run fast enough or don't hustle to beat out double plays.
Going 3-3 against Tampa/New York is a decent result...but the Jays also dug themselves a hole and threw away opportunities to do better. They are winning in spite of the team flaws right now.
