I believe this marks the first time the Leafs play the Capitals in the playoffs, ever.

Yes, it is.

So what you're really saying is that the Leafs have never lost to the Capitals in the playoffs . . . ever.

No, they haven't.

Is it also true that in the entire history of the franchise, the Leafs have never ever even scored a goal against the Caps in the playoffs?

So what you are saying is that more rookie records are up for grabs

Naz and Leo. Marty and Marns. Matty and Willy. The bromances are strong.

I'm a bit surprised that Bullfrog hasn't pointed out that only 3 of those images/gifs are from this season.

Proper style would dictate that the number three should be written out in full unless in a series with other numbers greater than ten.

:P

Wonder who we would have been playing if we won even half the overtime games?

They were 1-8 in the shootout and, as best as I can tell, 6-7 in OT. So that's a cumulative record of 7-15 in OT/SO. If they'd won half of those 22 games that would be 4 extra points so they'd have finished with 99 points. So Ottawa, probably. The exact same team they'd be playing if they'd beat Columbus.

Leafs standard lineup with nicks just because:

Hymie/Matty/Willy
Uncleo/Nazzy/Brownie
Reems/Bozie/Marns
Marty/Boyler/Kappy

Gards/Zaitzy
Reills/CeeCee
Poly/Hunny

For the record, JvR is Reemer, not Reems. And never ever ever use that nickname for Hyman.
