Blue Jackets @ Leafs - Jan. 13th, 7:00pm - SN, TSN 1050

[ZBBM]

As the talkers have noted, Lupul has looked good this period.

[bustaheims]

Tee hee.

[CarltonTheBear]

I really didn't think there was any way we'd lose this one. Silly me.

[ZBBM]

Another pretty good goal.

[AvroArrow]

I honestly don't know how Torts still has an NHL coaching job... He's terrible.

[lamajama]

At least this leads me to having more faith in a bottom 5 finish....

[ZBBM]

And to think, we laughed--laughed--at Joonas Korpisalo.

[rjd]

I think we all know what has happened here.  Clearly someone on the Leafs has grown a beard.

[CarltonTheBear]

Gardiner's played pretty well tonight I think. That's pretty much it though.

[ZBBM]

MEN!

[bustaheims]

Aww. I was kind of hoping the Shambling Corpse would get the shutout.

[ZBBM]

Arrgh ... Dion caught at the line.

[CarltonTheBear]

What a save by Rielly there.

[Tigger]

Perfect loss.

[bustaheims]

This team is certainly something.

[Nik]

Well, on the bright side, I think that still technically qualifies as a hockey game.

[GhostofPotvin29]

Tanks Columbus!

Never forget:

[ZBBM]

And the heady champagne of victory is flowing tonight along the banks of the Scioto.

[LuncheonMeat]

This team is certainly something.

It could be worse. Montreal is currently 10 points ahead of the Leafs and 19 points out of first. If I was a Habs fan, this would be much more painful considering their start. Since I'm not, I can just sit back and laugh at them.

[L K]

27. Toronto 39 points
28. Buffalo 38 points
29. Edmonton 38 points
30. Columbus 36 points

Calgary, Philadelphia and Anaheim won to put some space between them and the Leafs.  Everything is going according to plan.
